How do I submit an appraisal?
Submitting an appraisal request is simple and quick. It only takes a few minutes. For guidance, check out our step-by-step guide!
How much does an appraisal cost?
Appraisals are $95.00 USD flat fee.
What can you appraise?
We can appraise pretty much anything with a VIN, including but not limited to: cars, trucks, vans, buses, motorcycles, scooters, recreational vehicles, cargo trailers, enclosed trailers, utility trailers, landscape trailers, boat trailers, commercial trucks, commercial vehicles, dump trucks, trash trucks, tractor and trailers, dry-van trailers, incomplete vehicles, box trucks and more!
Is there anything you can’t appraise?
Like we always say, we can appraise pretty much any vehicle with a VIN.
How do I pay for completed appraisals?
Once an appraisal request is complete, an invoice for the completed work will appear in your customer dashboard under the “Invoices” tab. Click “Pay Now” to access the invoice and pay. We manage our invoices using Quickbooks, which accepts all major credit cards and other electronic payment methods. We do not accept cash or check. Once an invoice is paid, the status under your invoice tab will change to “Paid.”
Will your appraisals meet the requirements of my state’s DMV?
Yes! We worked with the VA DMV to create our appraisal process. We’ve created thousands of appraisals that meet and surpass the strict requirements of the DMV in VA. If you have appraisal needs for a different state outside of Virginia, we’d be happy to work with you to research the requirements of your state DMV and use our industry tested methods to provide an accurate and comprehensive appraisal report for your needs.

Can you appraise classic and rare cars?
If you have a toaster with a VIN#, we can appraise it.
What information do I need to create an appraisal?
- VIN
- Color of vehicle
- Mileage (if obtainable)
- NADA Loan Value (if you have obtained it)
- 3-6 color photos of vehicle
- Any additional information about the condition of the vehicle we should be aware of
Can I access my customer dashboard on my phone or tablet?
Yes! All functions of the customer dashboard will work across all devices. Keep in mind: if you have a poor cellular signal, uploading images may take a little while. If you are having trouble uploading on a cellular signal, you can always save the request as a draft and submit when you have a better signal or are able to connect o WiFi. If you are creating an appraisal request from your phone or tablet, you can take pictures of your vehicle directly from the request form by clicking on the add photo icon and selecting “Take Photo.”
Can I start an appraisal request, or multiple requests and come back to them later?
You sure can. Some customers may want to get the process started, but not submit the appraisal for completion quite yet. In this case, simply start a new appraisal like normal. To save it, just click “Save and Exit” at the bottom of the form. This will save the appraisal request form in “Draft.” To come back to it, just login to your dashboard, click the “Edit” icon next to the appraisal you’d like to return to and complete and submit it at anytime. If you decided you do not want to submit the appraisal, you can delete a draft at any time.
Is there a fee for creating an account with AIAA?
Nope! Your customer account is free. You will only be charged when an appraisal or a group of appraisals is completed. You can always check your customer dashboard to view invoices and check their status, they will show “Paid” if they are paid or “Pay Now” if they still need to be paid.
How long will it take to receive my completed appraisal?
Turnaround time depends on the volume of appraisals we have at the time of submission. However, you can expect to have your report completed in 1-3 business days.
Do you have any official licensing or certification by accredited boards?
Yes! Our appraisers stay current with certification by both ICAR and BOCAA.
